Dental Sedation

Dental Intravenous Sedation is a pleasant, safe and convenient way for you to undergo a variety of dental and surgical procedures without anxiety, in the familiar comfort of your own clinic.

The safety of I.V Sedation for dental procedures has been well established over decades. With appropriate training, skills and understanding, it is a pleasant and safe way to undergo difficult dental procedures with no anxiety and often little recollection of the procedure afterwards.

Sedative medication is given incrementally (titrated) to the desired effect and topped up throughout the procedure. This ensures a correct and safe level of sedation is maintained and not exceeded.

All patients are fully monitored, as required, with Non invasive Blood pressure, (NiBP), Pulse oximetry (SPO2), Electrocardiograph (ECG), Carbon Dioxide monitoring (eTCO2), Temperature and breathing (wireless pretracheal stethoscope). Most importantly, constant vigilance in physically assessing respiration rate, level of consciousness and comfort is maintained at all times throughout your sedation by your team. Blood sugar level assessment and other tests may also be performed as needed. The state of the art mobile monitoring adds to the high level of safety that has been established in Dental I.V Sedation around the world.
